January was an okay month. Good weather where I leave and where I come from, new beginning to many;school, work, and whatever else in humanity(ohh!).....yeah, ups and down...mostly downs for me.but it ended...and am still alive....oh, and I finally got to go to Casablanca!!! :-D
Apparently 2012 is supposed to be special. It IS a leap year. It has one extra day, thanks to all the quarters added up in the last three years. This is a biiig deal...I say the 29th of February should be made a public holiday...Internationally!!!and companies like mine should get sued if they send us to work by.....i don't know, some scientist...yes!and on this same month is Saint Valentines day.
I seriously won't get into the love stories, and i don't expect someone...anyone to expect me to get into it.
What bothers me most about valentines day is the EXPECTATION. It has become materialized. No matter how much we try to convince our mind; it is the day to share love with friends and family...someone will still expect a stuffed animal, an expensive meal or a flower bed..oh sorry a bouquet!...In school it became like homework to get valentine cards for other people. And unlucky you if u got a card from someone you din't plan to send one = budget crushed! I wonder what they do these days...6 years later!
However, I believe love should be celebrated and in whichever means possible. Self love...other loves...whatever love...14th feb is set aside for that.....I will be waiting with my camera(some love)....and get all the craziness the middle east has to offer me...I hope they know of this holiday!*a thought*....no really, Christmas is not a holiday around here so I wouldn't be surprised.
About the rest of the leap year...well, lets wait and see..

February starts on the same day of the week as March and November in common years, and on the same day of the week as August in leap years. February ends on the same day of the week as October every year and January in common years only. In leap years, it is the only month that ends on the same weekday it begins.(so says wiki...turns out...he's right) check your calenders!
